Mindfulness-Base Cognitive Therapy merges cognitive-behavioral methods with mindfulness approaches to aid individuals in comprehending and regulating their thoughts and emotions, consequently lessening distress.

In this therapeutic approach, individuals grasp cognitive strategies and mindfulness meditation to disrupt the automatic processes that might trigger depressive episodes. Symptoms such as low mood, negative thinking, fatigue, and lethargy often coincide during depression. Even after the episode fades, the links between these symptoms can persist, potentially leading to a significant relapse. Research shows that individuals with a history of depression may encounter negative memories and thoughts during periods of low mood, resulting in worries about the future and physical signs like fatigue.

Mindfulness is thought to enhance overall well-being, with several studies linking mindfulness to reduced levels of depression and anxiety. Hence, many mental health professionals have integrated mindfulness-promoting exercises into therapy sessions, which have proven effective in alleviating depression symptoms, reducing stress, and enhancing emotional regulation, regardless of the specific concerns being addressed.

Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) places focus on a person's present and future circumstances and goals rather than past experiences.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is designed to assist individuals facing challenges in discovering practical tools to promptly address symptoms and effectively navigate obstacles. This therapeutic approach is founded on the principle that individuals possess the capacity to instigate change within themselves; however, they may require guidance in recognizing and honing these inherent abilities. Moreover, SFBT acknowledges that individuals often possess an intuitive understanding of the changes required in their lives, and practitioners of this model strive to aid individuals in articulating and achieving their objectives.

During the first appointment as your therapist, I will discuss what concerns brought you to therapy, your goals, and also things such as current symptoms, and family history.

I want to make sure I understand your concerns accurately. I then will discuss what treatment options may be most effective to help you achieve your goals.

If you need to change or cancel your initial appointment time it is important for you to call MINDFUL THERAPY SOLUTIONS.

I look forward to serving you and helping you achieve your goals.
